Ghana's envoy in Prague, Ms Zita Okaikwe, says the student who was mistakenly rushed into quarantine over unfounded Ebola fears has been left traumatized by the experience.
But why won't he be traumatized ? He was put in a plastic bag and isolated because of a common cough and the video uploaded onto the Internet . Now his face is all over the place.
The fact that Ghana is completely Ebola free didn't prevent the Czech authorities from treating the unfounded fears with a little dignity.
At the hospital , it was found that he was suffering from nothing more than a bad cold. The Czech government has not commented on the incident .
Apparently Ghana's Government will lodge a formal complaint over the incident. A video clip from Russian media purportedly showing the incident has been widely shared on YouTube.
Report indicate the student cleared airport security, but was later picked up at Prague's main railway station. .
